What you’ll be doing:

•Performs a variety of duties in an operating room to assist the surgical team before, during and after surgical intervention including arranging sterile set up for operation, acting as scrub or circulating assistant and assisting in clean up after the surgery.  

Assists in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients, assists in maintenance and care of specimens and prepares for laboratory analysis, provides appropriate instrumentation, suture and all supplies as requested and provides and maintains a sterile environment.

Facility is acute care hospital under 50 beds and not for profit.

Requirements

What they’re looking for:

•Formal training and certification from an accredited Surgical Technology school. 

•Experience preferred. Orthopedic experience or interest preferred.

Benefits

Hours and compensation potential:

•Position is full time days(6:30am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm). On call one day a week and every 5th or 6th weekend.

•Range is $25.50 to $41.78 dependent on years of experience.

•A full benefit package is offered and a relocation/sign-on bonus is possible.
