NYNN is a series of inspiring places for inspiring people. We handcraft unique environments and experiences, from members’ clubs to resort hotels, to entertainment gastronomies and more. NYNN is developing a portfolio of diverse concepts in Greece with the intention to travel. NYNN is initiated and bootstrapped by Temes S.A., developer of Costa Navarino.
Our first concept is House of NYNN, a private lifestyle members’ club, located at The Ilisian. Spread across three levels and over 5,500 SQM, House of NYNN is designed for balance - where pleasure, work, fitness, and wellbeing come together effortlessly. Thoughtfully curated spaces include laid-back dining, vibrant bars, smart workspaces, next-gen fitness, and the largest outdoor pool in central Athens. ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dedicated team member with a genuine passion for food and gastronomy, to join us as Chef de Partie. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong eye for detail, be creative, and possess in-depth knowledge of raw materials and techniques. Our ideal team member thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and works well under pressure. ABOUT THE ROLE
As Chef de Partie at House of NYNN, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the culinary operations in your section. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare and cook dishes within your assigned section, following standardized recipes and specifications.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in your section.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely production of dishes.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Adhere to quality and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury dining establishment, preferably in fine dining or a 5* hotel kitchen
- Strong knowledge of and experience in a specific culinary section e.g., fish, meat, grill, larder
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for culinary arts
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Great leadership skills
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Eligible to work in the EU, either by holding an EU passport or having appropriate work authorization
