The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead brand transformation, omni-channel growth, and digital acceleration for a luxury jewellery retail business. This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic yet execution-focused marketer who understands luxury consumers, aspiration-led branding, retail excellence, and digital-first growth.

The role blends heritage storytelling with data, AI, automation, and performance marketing to build a nationally and globally admired luxury brand.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Business Growth

  • Define and execute a data-driven marketing strategy aligned with long-term brand and revenue objectives
  • Leverage consumer insights, analytics, AI, and marketing automation to anticipate trends and stay ahead of competition
  • Track market dynamics, customer behavior, and category shifts to refine brand positioning

2. Brand Building & Luxury Storytelling

  • Build and scale a trust-led luxury jewellery brand rooted in craftsmanship and heritage
  • Lead integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, retail, and experiential channels
  • Ensure consistent premium brand communication across all customer touchpoints

3. Digital, D2C & Omni-channel Growth

  • Drive online, D2C, and omni-channel revenue growth, especially in fast-moving and small-ticket jewellery categories
  • Lead CRM, personalization, loyalty, and marketing technology initiatives
  • Create seamless integration between online discovery and offline retail purchase journeys

4. Retail Expansion & Market Development

  • Support strategic retail expansion across high-street locations, flagship stores, pop-ups, exhibitions, and travel retail
  • Partner with business teams on new store launches and market entry strategies
  • Balance scale, profitability, and brand positioning across new geographies

5. Influencer, Celebrity & Experiential Marketing

  • Conceptualize and manage celebrity endorsements, influencer collaborations, and designer partnerships
  • Lead participation in national and international exhibitions, trade shows, and luxury showcases
  • Deliver immersive brand experiences that drive aspiration and recall

6. Customer Experience, Loyalty & CRM

  • Design and scale insight-led loyalty programs to improve repeat purchase and customer lifetime value
  • Enhance premium customer experience across digital and physical channels
  • Track and improve NPS, engagement, and brand advocacy metrics

7. Marketing Budget, ROI & Analytics

  • Own and optimize the marketing budget with a strong ROI focus
  • Balance long-term brand investments with short-term performance outcomes
  • Use dashboards and analytics to track campaign effectiveness and customer journeys

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 14+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong exposure to luxury retail, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands
  • Proven success in brand building, omni-channel marketing, and digital/e-commerce growth

Core Skills & Expertise

  • Deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior and aspiration-led marketing
  • Expertise in digital marketing, CRM, personalization, MarTech, AI, and analytics
  • Strong experience in retail marketing, experiential campaigns, and influencer ecosystems
  • Ability to translate strategy into large-scale execution
