Our client is seeking a qualified Claims Case Manager.
As a Claims Case Manager, you won’t just process paperwork — you will provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals navigating the aftermath of significant, potentially life-changing incidents. In this role, you serve as a trusted guide, ensuring claimants receive reimbursement for eligible out-of-pocket expenses while experiencing professionalism, dignity, and care throughout the process.

What You’ll Do
- Manage End-to-End Claims Processing
- Review, process, and manage incoming applications for reimbursement of incident-related expenses.
- Independently verify claimant eligibility and confirm incident details in coordination with agency partners.
- Confirm expenses and payments through communication with providers and collateral sources.
Provide Trauma-Informed Support
- Conduct professional, compassionate outreach to victims and claimants.
- Serve as a primary point of contact through a dedicated toll-free hotline and centralized email mailbox.
- Maintain detailed inquiry logs for both potential and current claimants.
Drive Accuracy and Accountability
- Use a CRM database to maintain, route, and track electronic case files throughout the full claim lifecycle (active, inactive, closed).
- Create and manage spreadsheets to track submitted expenses and reimbursement status.
- Ensure all casework is handled with integrity, discretion, and respect for privacy.
Support Program Operations & Reporting
- Schedule and coordinate weekly project meetings, including drafting agendas, meeting minutes, and weekly status reports.
- Provide data and administrative support for monthly project reports, annual reports, and Congressional reporting requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless case management services.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work, or a related discipline and at least three (3) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
Professional Strengths
- Demonstrated experience in case management, claims processing, or related client-service environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in high-profile or sensitive environments.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Comfort working with databases/CRM systems and tracking tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance.
Preferred
Experience working for a federal government contractor.
