We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Class A Driver to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring safe and timely transportation of our customers' belongings while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including box trucks and tractor-trailers, to transport customers' belongings safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading household or office goods, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Plan and follow assigned routes to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and addressing any concerns during the move.
- Ensure proper securement of cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, inventories and inspections as required by DOT regulations. ELD provided.
- Assist with basic setup or placement of items at the destination.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and medical card.
- Clean driving record with a history of safe driving practices.
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience (moving experience preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 80 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
