Generally responsible for providing colour advisory and colour advocacy in a manner that meet the wants, needs and personalities of customers
- Gives clients expert advice on how to match elements of an interior or exterior design scheme using color theory and a creative eye for detail.
- Applies skills and superior knowledge of color palette, trends, and design to produce visual effects that meet the needs of their clients; working with a variety of elements within a space, ranging from fabrics, furniture, paints and surface treatments, such as different wall and ceiling finishes.
- Uses knowledge of color psychology to meet clients’ expectations and suit spaces.
- Combines colour psychology, color design theories, current trends and demographic statistics to come up with exciting spaces for clients that reflects their wants, needs and personalities.
- Creates color palettes for residential, commercial, and retail spaces.
- Transforms boring spaces into brilliant, creativity inspiring or warm and friendly ones.
- Provides data about consumer color preferences based on demographic data.
- Liaises with sales team to provide technical support to the customers.
- Conducts product demonstrations, training to users and contacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Visual, Fine and Applied Art or any relevant field of study with minimum of 4 years work experience. Experience in an interior design firm would be an added advantage
- Degree or certification in the area of fashion, interior and industrial design.

- Must have an eye for detail, as well as the knowledge of how different colors effect various properties, such as moods.
