NYNN is developing a portfolio of diverse concepts in Greece with the intention to travel. NYNN is initiated and bootstrapped by Temes S.A., developer of Costa Navarino.
Our first concept is House of NYNN, a private lifestyle members’ club, located at The Ilisian. Spread across three levels and over 5,500 SQM, House of NYNN is designed for balance - where pleasure, work, fitness, and wellbeing come together effortlessly. Thoughtfully curated spaces include laid-back dining, vibrant bars, smart workspaces, next-gen fitness, and the largest outdoor pool in central Athens. ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dedicated team member available to join us for the upcoming summer season (April-October), as Commis Chef at Oasis, our newest Italian gastronomy concept.
At Oasis, we celebrate the simplicity, generosity, and craft of true Italian cooking, where the quality of ingredients speaks for itself and every dish is built on flavour, balance, and attention to detail. Our menu is curated by a team of award-winning Italian chefs and inspired by classic Italian favourites, brought to life through carefully selected raw materials, seasonal produce, and a strong commitment to consistency.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong eye for detail, discipline and high hygiene standards. Our ideal team member thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and works well under pressure. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Commis Chef at House of NYNN, you will be responsible for executing the culinary operations in your section. You will work closely with the Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare and cook dishes within your assigned section, following standardized recipes and specifications.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely production of dishes.
- Adhere to quality and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a high-end dining establishment
- Available for the April–October 2026 season
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Eligible to work in the EU, either by holding an EU passport or having appropriate work authorization
