YOUR ROLE:
We're looking for a Community Builder to create and grow engaged communities around our new AI products - Coderick AI and SiteGround AI Studio. You'll establish our presence on platforms like Discord, Reddit, and relevant forums, and build spaces where users connect, share feedback, and help each other succeed.
This is a ground-up role. You'll define the strategy, launch the communities, and nurture them into active, valuable spaces for our users and our product teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and manage online communities across our own channels, Discord, Reddit, forums, and other relevant platforms;Develop community strategy including platform selection, engagement tactics, and growth plans;Create and maintain community guidelines, structures, and moderation practices;Foster meaningful conversations and connections among community members;Act as the voice of SiteGround in community spaces - answering questions, sharing updates, and gathering feedbackIdentify and nurture community advocates and power users;Surface user feedback, feature requests, and pain points to product teams;Plan and run community events, AMAs, challenges, and other engagement initiatives;Track community health metrics and report on growth, engagement, and sentiment;Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align community efforts with launches and campaigns.
OUR EXPECTATIONS:
3+ years of experience building and managing online communities;Proven track record of growing communities from scratch on platforms like Discord, Reddit, or forums;Deep understanding of community dynamics, engagement tactics, and moderation best practices;Excellent written communication skills with a natural, authentic voice;Passion for technology and genuine interest in AI tools;Ability to balance community advocacy with business objectives;Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of community strategy;Fluent English.
GREAT ADVANTAGE WILL BE:
Experience with developer or tech-focused communitiesBackground in SaaS, hosting, or AI products;Familiarity with vibe coding or no-code/low-code tools;Experience with community platforms and tools (Discord bots, community analytics, etc.);Active participation in online communities yourself.
