Position Overview

The Consultant/Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex oral and dental issues, providing patients with comprehensive surgical and non-surgical treatment options. This position will require a strong commitment to patient care, surgical proficiency, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and diagnostics to identify oral health issues
• Develop custom treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Perform a range of surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, and reconstructive surgeries
• Oversee post-operative care and ensure smooth patient recovery
• Educate patients and their families about oral health and treatment options
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve overall patient care
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in oral and dental surgery

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Active dental license in the relevant jurisdiction
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in oral and dental surgery
• Strong expertise in surgical procedures and patient management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional healthcare setting
