Role Summary
We’re hiring a social-first content creator that is capable of shoot and editing fast-paced, short-form content optimised for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts ads that drives attention and conversions. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and is excited by ideate, shooting, and editing scrappy UGC style, BTS and founder-led storytelling content.
You’ll need at least a year of editing experience, solid skills in CapCut or the Adobe suite, and a sharp understanding of what works across social platforms
Requirements
Day-to-day:
You’ll create highly engaging short-form video content for Meta and TikTok with a strong focus on generating great engagement. This includes:
- UGC and scrappy skit style content
- Founder-led business storytelling content with our Founder, Alex
- Employee-generated business storytelling content, where you’ll take the lead as the creator
- Using storytelling, sounds, and creative visuals to grab attention and drive performance
- Executing a range of video styles, with a particular strength in social-first content
- Reviewing and refining content based on feedback to ensure every video meets a high creative standard
- Managing multiple projects at once, meeting deadlines, and consistently delivering high-quality work
- Accurately estimating editing timelines and delivering within them
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to push themselves creatively and genuinely excited by how their videos perform, always looking for ways to improve metrics and continuously raise the bar.
Who we’re looking for
- A highly organised, independent operator who can confidently manage content output
- 1+ years of experience as a video editor, whether in-house, at an agency, freelance, or as a content creator
- Strong proficiency in Capcut or Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience creating content that doesn’t just get views, but actually resonates, especially on Meta
- A clear understanding of the culture, nuances, and best practices of different social channels
- Someone who can work autonomously, take initiative, and improve processes along the way
- A proactive, can-do attitude and excitement about joining one of the UK’s fastest-growing scale-ups
