The German-Language Instructional Content Developer will create high-quality training materials in German for a module on writing for labeling workflows in machine learning data annotation. This role is ideal for a native German writer who understands (or can quickly learn) modern annotation tasks (e.g., text classification, NER, span annotation, safety/toxicity, dialogue evaluation) and can translate complex operational requirements into clear, engaging lessons.
The content must model excellent annotation writing: clear rationales, precise language, concise comments, and structured responses. You will collaborate with our internal program team to produce session plans, learning activities, examples, and assessments aligned to defined outcomes.

- Writing workshop materials (drills, feedback guidance, revision activities)
- Produce complete content packages per session (as applicable):
- Facilitator guide, Learner materials, “Strong vs. weak” examples, Rubrics / evaluation criteria, and Short knowledge checks or assessments.
- Ensure content is rule-based and audit-ready, anchoring decisions to instructions/SOPs and modeling how to flag ambiguity appropriately (escalation rather than guessing).
- Review and iterate on content based on internal feedback, peer review, and pilot findings.
- Participate in weekly and ad hoc meetings with the program team to align on learning objectives, standards, and delivery constraints.
- (If needed) Support content deployment into our learning platform (training provided).

- Comfortable collaborating in English for project alignment (German is required for deliverables).
- Organized, deadline-reliable, and comfortable working in a remote, fast-moving environment.
- Nice to have: Experience creating content for AI/ML workforce training programs; Experience with annotation tools or workflows; Experience using AI writing tools responsibly with strong quality control.
