The Content Strategist will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive content strategy that drives brand visibility, audience engagement, and business growth. This role blends creative storytelling with analytical thinking to deliver high-impact content across digital platforms while ensuring consistency, relevance, and performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own an end-to-end content strategy aligned with brand positioning and business objectives.
- Conduct audience and market research to define content themes, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice.
- Plan and manage content calendars across multiple channels including website, blogs, social media, email, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive content initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, quality, and messaging across all content touchpoints.
- Optimize content for search visibility, engagement, and conversion throughout the customer journey.
- Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools and refine strategies based on insights.
- Stay updated on evolving content trends, platform algorithms, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or digital marketing roles.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.
- Solid understanding of SEO, content funnels, and user journey mapping.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable content improvements.
- Strong collaboration, planning, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with agencies, startups, or fast-paced digital environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Experience creating content for regional or India-focused audiences.
- Basic understanding of paid media and campaign-driven content strategies.
