We’re looking for an IT Associate to help power the team behind it all — ensuring every ShopBacker has the tools, access, and support to do their best work!
Your Adventure Ahead
Be the go-to person for all IT-related matters, providing friendly, reliable, and efficient support to our team.
Set up laptops and user accounts for new joiners to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Maintain and manage IT equipment — from laptops to accessories — ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely.
Keep our IT inventory organized, up-to-date, and in excellent condition.
Handle offboarding tasks, including retrieving laptops and closing user accounts, with strict attention to IT security protocols.
Continuously look for ways to improve internal IT processes and enhance user satisfaction.
Essentials to Succeed
A diploma or degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical operations role.
A collaborative mindset — you enjoy helping others, but can also work independently when needed.
A strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in managing sensitive information.
Basic, hands-on knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, and other common tools like Google workplace, ticketing tools Jira, Zendesk or other ITSM tools.
Familiarity with desktop and laptop hardware, and ideally, experience in a service desk or IT support environment.
A proactive, can-do attitude — you take ownership of tasks, solve problems quickly, and are always ready to lend a hand.
