Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our volumetric module platform and highly automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for multifamily housing. We are setting up our first digital factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.
We're seeking a Controller who can effectively manage our financial operations. This role is vital for our growing company, requiring someone who can oversee current accounting functions while also growing systems and processes in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and highly organized. We need someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and can implement scalable accounting/financial systems. This position will report directly to leadership and serve as a key member of our administrative team, helping to build the foundation for our company's continued growth and success.
Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, payroll and ensuring accuracy of financial statements and bank reconciliations
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
Lead the month end and year end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Identify areas of continuous improvement for accounting systems and processes
Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management
Work with an outside accounting firm to provide information necessary for completion of tax filings
Perform general accounting duties as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of accounting or finance experience; CPA preferred
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial reporting
Proficiency with Excel
Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, MRP/ERP systems, etc.)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to wear multiple hats
Familiarity with construction, manufacturing, or startup environments preferred
