Job Overview:

We’re helping find 1–2 talented nearshore copywriters to jump in immediately and handle high-engagement written responses exclusively through Gorgias for a fast-growing Gen Z celebrity/pop culture-aligned comfort/lifestyle brand. This is a purely text-based role where you’ll craft witty, relatable, and culturally Americanized replies that drive engagement, loyalty, and virality in real time.

This creative, fast-paced role lets your writing become the brand’s personality across customer inquiries, social mentions, and user-generated content.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to all incoming tickets/messages in Gorgias in real time (or near real-time during peak US hours).
• Write humorous, engaging, on-brand text replies that are fully Americanized — using US Gen Z slang, trends, memes, and celebrity/pop culture references with a fun, relatable tone.
• Engage in conversations around user posts/experiences with quick, witty commentary to increase interaction and brand love.
• Maintain perfect voice consistency while adapting to trending topics.
• Track response performance and suggest ideas to amplify engagement.
• Handle high-volume interactions (2 writers ideal for coverage and shifts).

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Proven experience in copywriting, social community management, or engagement for DTC/Gen Z brands (especially TikTok UGC/comments or similar high-interaction platforms).
• Strong examples/portfolio of native-level American English writing — must feel authentically US (no foreign phrasing).
• Deep knowledge of Gen Z pop culture, celebrities, memes, and TikTok-native humor.
• Comfortable working exclusively in Gorgias (or similar helpdesk tools) — quick to learn if needed.
• Nearshore location for reliable US time zone overlap (EST/PST alignment).
• Available to start within the next 2 weeks.
• Playful, sarcastic, or fun writing style when it fits the brand.

• Bonus: Experience with comfort/apparel/lifestyle brands or viral DTC social engagement.
