Location: 19431 S. Santa Fe Ave., Compton, CA 90221

Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience

 

Responsibilities

  • Customer Communication
    • Provide and confirm transportation schedules (pickup/delivery ETA)
    • Receive and reflect customer requests (e.g., special storage, equipment needs)
    • Notify and coordinate in advance/in hindsight regarding delays, layovers, oversize issues
  • Order Management
    • Manage shipping requests and Scheduling
    • Create and track orders based on reference numbers(B/L, CNTR #)
    • Secure appointment slots at terminals
    • Share and re-coordinate immediately in case of chages or cancellations
  • Field Operations Support
    • Deliver driver instructions
    • Share checklists for yard/terminal in-out operations
    • Report and identify responsibilities when damage occurs
  • Documentation & System management
    • Collect and share documents with customers (POD,BOL, invoices, etc.)
    • Update tracking information
    • Summarize flip fees and any other additional cost for customer explanation
  • Problem Solving & Improvement
    • Identify and report causes of dry runs, miscommunication, and delays
    • Draft improvement plans and share internally/customers
    • Support safety and compliance reporting

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • Must have experience working with Excel
  • Must be detailed oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize
  • Must be a team player and also be able to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written skills along with good interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to focus and work in a high paced multi-tasking environment
  • May have travel to job site and port/CFS facilities
  • Proficient in Korean & English required
