We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Data & AI Instructor with 3–5 years of hands-on industry experience to train and mentor learners in data engineering and big data technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data concepts, Big Data ecosystems, Databricks, and PySpark, along with a genuine interest in teaching and knowledge sharing. This role focuses on delivering practical, industry-relevant training that bridges the gap between theory and real-world data applications.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality training sessions on Data Engineering and AI fundamentals, with a strong focus on Big Data technologies.
  • Teach core and advanced concepts of Big Data, including distributed data processing, data pipelines, and scalable data architectures.
  • Conduct hands-on training on Databricks, covering workspace management, notebooks, Delta Lake, data ingestion, and optimization techniques.
  • Train learners on PySpark, including Spark architecture, RDDs, DataFrames, Spark SQL, performance tuning, and real-world use cases.
  • Create structured course content, lesson plans, assignments, case studies, and real-world projects aligned with industry standards.
  • Guide learners through practical labs, debugging exercises, and capstone projects to ensure applied learning.
  • Assess learner performance through quizzes, assignments, and project evaluations, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in data engineering, big data platforms, and AI-driven data solutions, and continuously improve curriculum content.
  • Support learners with doubt resolution, career guidance, and best practices for real-world data projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve training delivery, learning outcomes, and overall program quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience working in Data Engineering, Big Data, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of data fundamentals, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, especially Apache Spark–based ecosystems.
  • Proven expertise in Databricks, including PySpark development, notebook workflows, and Delta Lake concepts.
  • Strong programming skills in PySpark and Python, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing systems.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to learners at different skill levels.
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience is a strong plus.
