The team is currently looking for a Data Analyst to be jointly responsible for the research, standardisation, modelling, and forecasting of various demographic, socio and macro-economic data meeting client needs and deadlines.  

This role demands a high level of analytical skill, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to continuously improving data research, modelling and forecasting techniques, as well as exploring and implementing new methods to improve data comparability and quality. 

 

Requirements

What you’ll do

  • Research and maintain datasets from national and international statistical sources
  • Clean, standardize, and analyze data using R and Excel
  • Build forecasts using extrapolation, interpolation, and modelling techniques
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and cross-country comparability
  • Improve data collection and automation processes
  • Document workflows and best practices
  • Work with sales and marketing teams and respond to client data queries

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in mathematics, economics, econometrics, or a related field
  • Strong skills in R and advanced Excel
  • Experience with data research, manipulation, and time-series analysis
  • Interest in global economic, demographic, and social trends
  • Clear written and spoken English
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
