The team is currently looking for a Data Analyst to be jointly responsible for the research, standardisation, modelling, and forecasting of various demographic, socio and macro-economic data meeting client needs and deadlines.
This role demands a high level of analytical skill, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to continuously improving data research, modelling and forecasting techniques, as well as exploring and implementing new methods to improve data comparability and quality.
Requirements
What you’ll do
- Research and maintain datasets from national and international statistical sources
- Clean, standardize, and analyze data using R and Excel
- Build forecasts using extrapolation, interpolation, and modelling techniques
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and cross-country comparability
- Improve data collection and automation processes
- Document workflows and best practices
- Work with sales and marketing teams and respond to client data queries
What we’re looking for
- Degree in mathematics, economics, econometrics, or a related field
- Strong skills in R and advanced Excel
- Experience with data research, manipulation, and time-series analysis
- Interest in global economic, demographic, and social trends
- Clear written and spoken English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
