Lead Architecture for the Enterprise Data Program: Actively support and lead the architectural direction for the Enterprise Data Program, with a primary focus on the EGL exit from the legacy Woolworths data platform.
Architecture Oversight and Governance (Migration Focus): Oversee, approve, and co-design critical architecture artifacts required to support the migration and separation from the legacy platform. Review, assess, and govern solution designs to ensure they adhere to architecture principles and best practices throughout the entire migration lifecycle, ensuring smooth and successful transitions.
Strategic Collaboration and Alignment: Be a key contributor to the Architecture peer group, collaborating with other Data Architects and Enterprise Architects (EA) to ensure the Data Program’s architecture aligns with Endeavour Group’s strategy and roadmap.
Standards Enforcement (SI Partner Focus): Partner closely with System Integration (SI) partners, internal teams, and platform groups to establish and enforce data standards and contribute to the development of guidelines focused on applications and products within D&AI’s scope for migration. Ensure all migration initiatives align with the overarching Enterprise Architecture to maintain consistency.
Issue Resolution and Autonomy: Diagnose and resolve complex architectural challenges, addressing technical or operational issues that arise during the transition to the new architecture. Act autonomously to manage and resolve issues or deviations from established standards, ensuring alignment with project goals and architecture guidelines.
Risk and Compliance Management: Collaborate with Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Platform teams, and Risk and Portfolio Offices to implement engagement processes, track issues identified during architectural assessments, and ensure they are properly documented in project and risk registers related to the various migration artifacts.
Target-State Adoption: Support the successful adoption and industrialization of the target-state architecture by executing strategies for data systems, ensuring long-term architectural stability and alignment with enterprise goals and objectives post-separation.
Principle Adherence: Ensure strict alignment with defined architecture standards and principles, promoting consistency in solution decisions across the enterprise and ensuring seamless integration with the new target architectures.
