Database Architect
- Achieves organizational goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive migration strategy with architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases.
- Performed details assessment of current database system by determining structural requirements, and developing migration solutions.
- Ensures security of all information and computer systems and digital data.
- Ensures adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.
- Determines platform architecture, technology, and tools.
- Confirms architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications by developing analytical models and completing validation tests.
- Improves architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements.
- Communicates technology needs and strategy to fellow members of executive team.
- Create current database system architecture, target database architecture, migration roadmap, estimates timelines in a comprehensive analysis report.
Qualifications
- Overall 8+ years of experience with minimum 2 years prior experience as a data architect or in a data management role
- Extensive experience with data migration from MS Access database to SQL database using Microsoft SSMA (SQL Server Migration Assistent)
- Certified Data Architect
- Experience with software network design and implementation
- Understanding of data analysis, business principles, and operations
- Software architecture and design
