We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Demand Planner

 

ROLE COMMITMENTS 

  • Develop and Finalize the Consensus Demand Plan
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment and Integration
  • Optimize Inventory Levels and Service Performance
  • Lead Performance Analysis and Process Improvement

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing detailed forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and technical skills (Excel, SQL/BI tools).
  • Leading the crucial collaborative process to integrate qualitative input from Sales, Marketing, and regional intelligence.
  • The output is a single, unified Consensus Forecast that the entire organization commits to executing against.
  • Incorporate promotional plans and new product launches.
  • Align demand requirements with production capacity and schedules.
  • Provide accurate volume input for budgeting, financial outlooks, and working capital analysis.
  • Translating the final forecast into specific production and procurement requirements.
  • Proactively managing the inventory levels to meet service targets while minimizing carrying costs and the risk of obsolescence.
  • Proactively identifying and flagging potential supply chain risks (e.g., supplier constraints) that could prevent fulfilling the demand plan.
  • Rigorously monitor and report on core KPIs, particularly forecast accuracy and bias.
  • Conduct detailed root-cause analysis for significant forecast variances.
  • Implement concrete strategies and process changes to improve data quality and overall planning maturity.



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education and Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.
  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in an analytical or planning role such as Supply Chain Analyst, Demand/Inventory Planner, or Production Planner, ideally within a consumer goods or high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to or lead aspects of a formal S&OP or integrated business planning process.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel modeling (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formula functions).
  • Experience querying or manipulating data using SQL and/or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of a major ERP system (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and/or planning software

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Analytical Interpretation: Understands the mechanics and limitations of statistical forecasting models, focusing on interpreting outputs and applying qualitative overrides.
  • Clear Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data and forecasting risks into a clear, concise narrative to drive confident cross-functional decision-making.
  • Market Insight: Possesses a keen awareness of product life cycles, competitor behavior, and broader market trends to inform the forecast.
  • Process Discipline: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, capable of managing a structured monthly calendar while handling dynamic, last-minute changes.
Pay Range:
$80,000$80,000 USD
