Salary: $220,000–$260,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Role Overview

This role delivers comprehensive dental care in a community health clinic serving Oakland’s diverse BIPOC population. You will diagnose oral health conditions, provide preventive and restorative treatment, and educate patients on long-term oral health. Your work supports access, trust, and continuity of care for individuals and families who rely on community-based services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Provide preventive, restorative, and basic surgical dental procedures
• Interpret dental X-rays and clinical findings to guide care decisions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and care teams
• Follow clinic protocols, safety standards, and public health guidelines

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active California Dental License in good standing
• Current DEA registration
• Experience in general dentistry; community or public health setting preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
