About the Desktop Support Engineer Position
We are looking for a bright Desktop Support Engineer to provide day to day technical support to our employees. This Engineer will give support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required.
Shift: Fixed Night Shifts (6:30pm to 3:30am IST)
Desktop Support Engineer Responsibilities
- Take ownership of employees issues reported and see problems through to resolution
- Study, diagnose, troubleshoot and recognize solutions to solve customer issues
- Follow standard methods for proper escalation of unsolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Provide timely and detailed feedback to customers
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
- Installation, configuration & Management of Operating system (Windows) & application software.
- Setup and maintenance of IT systems & devices.
- Knowledge of data backup.
- Knowledge of Network Device & Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and understanding of VOIP
- Good documentation skills.
- Ability to learn and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Should be able to understand technical terms.
