At Stigg, we’re reinventing how software companies manage pricing and packaging, making it effortless, flexible, and developer-first. We’re building for builders: the engineering and product teams shaping the next generation of SaaS.
Trusted by companies like Miro, Webflow, PagerDuty, and Upwork, Stigg helps SaaS teams turn monetization into a growth engine instead of a bottleneck.
Now, we’re looking for a Developer Advocate to become the technical voice of Stigg in the market, and to craft the kind of developer-first storytelling that makes engineering leaders go: “Yep. These people get it.”
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of engineering, DevRel, and go-to-market. You’ll think like an engineer, build like a builder, and ship like a marketer; creating technical content with strong opinions, clear diagrams, and real distribution behind it.
You’ll own how Stigg shows up to technical audiences, what we say, how we say it, where we publish, and how we earn trust with engineers, architects, and product leaders.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where technical depth meets storytelling, strategy, and distribution. You’ll own Stigg’s technical voice across content, community, and developer channels, and you’ll make sure it gets seen by the right people.
Your days might include:
Owning the technical content strategy: deciding what content we need, for which audience, and for which channels: thought leadership, deep technical explainers, product-led content, comparisons, and more.
Creating high-quality technical content that developers actually enjoy reading: blog posts, deep dives, tutorials, playbooks, breakdowns of SaaS/AI monetization concepts, and “why this architecture matters” pieces.
Writing with credibility, in a tone that resonates with engineering managers, staff engineers, architects, and technical PMs.
Sketching architectural diagrams and technical visuals (flows, integrations, system maps) that make it instantly clear how Stigg fits into modern stacks.
Building distribution into the work: choosing where content lives and how it spreads: Hacker News, Reddit, LinkedIn/X, GitHub, newsletters, communities, partners, and more.
Supporting GTM and sales by crafting clear technical narratives and visuals for pitches, decks, enablement, and product messaging.
Partnering with product + engineering to translate new capabilities, customer stories, and product thinking into content that moves the market.
Raising the bar on clarity, accuracy, and craftsmanship in everything Stigg publishes for technical audiences.
Above all, you’re a technical storyteller with strong instincts.
You’ve probably started as an engineer (or spent enough time building) to know what real technical teams care about, and you’ve developed the marketing skill to communicate it clearly and distribute it intentionally.
You might describe yourself as:
A builder who loves explaining things.
An engineer who got obsessed with content.
A technical marketer who writes and thinks like an EM.
Someone who earns trust through code, clarity, and taste.
You:
Think like an engineer and communicate like a GTM leader.
Turn complex systems into sharp, visual, memorable narratives.
Care deeply about craft: clarity, structure, accuracy, and “does this actually help the reader?”.
Love shipping content, iterating fast, and learning what works.
Are comfortable switching between writing, planning, diagramming, and publishing.
Know how to find your audience, and how to earn distribution, not just hope for it.
5+ years of experience creating technical content and/or driving technical GTM in a B2B SaaS environment (developer tools / infrastructure / APIs preferred).
Proven ability to produce high-quality technical writing that makes complex topics simple, compelling, and technically sound.
Native-level English with excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of modern SaaS, developer tooling, API-first architectures, and cloud-native systems.
Ability to visualize systems through architecture diagrams, flows, or system maps.
Demonstrated experience with content distribution across multiple channels (Hacker News, Reddit, X/LinkedIn, communities, newsletters, GitHub, partner channels, etc.).
Comfortable collaborating closely with engineering, product, design, and sales.
Have experience in Developer Advocacy / DevRel / developer marketing / technical writing.
Have published content under your name (blog posts, videos, tutorials, talks).
Are hands-on with visual storytelling tools (Excalidraw, Figma, Miro, etc.).
Have built docs, SDKs, demos, or open-source projects to support adoption.
Can share examples of your work (written, visual, or conceptual) that show how you simplify and communicate complex topics. (Include anything relevant with your application.)
