Developer / Operations Engineer
MUST-HAVES
- Experience with Architecture Certifications such as NIST 800-53
- Expert knowledge of Amazon AWS
- Security Focused Mindset
- Strong experience on configuration management software (Chef, Puppet etc)
- Experience with Security Testing Tools (Iceweasel etc)
- Scala/JVM Deployment experience
- Experience setting up One Button Deployments
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
A successful candidate should have run the full gamut of operations. We hope you have a deep experience and understanding of AWS Products, as well as a passion for creating and scaling secure infrastructure. Candidates will develop our CI/CD infrastructure, as well as manage an application that manages the sensitive data of the US Government and its citizens.
Candidate will be working on things like:
- Managing our code deployment process, ensuring servers are running the latest code efficiently without downtime.
- Securing our infrastructure against intrusion
- Ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 standards
- Incident response
- Ensuring compliance with technical standards
- Deep experience of AWS + GovCloud
- Configuration Management Services such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt
- Logging Infrastructure (ELK Stack)
- Security Testing Tools such as IceWeasel
- Application and instance monitoring and visualisation
