The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll own automation, tooling, and infrastructure across on-premises systems, co-located data centers, and containerized environments. Your work will focus on reliability, observability, and performance in production systems that operate under real-world trading constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with developers, traders, and quants to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of trading systems
  • Design, build, and maintain automation for workflows, deployments, and system operations
  • Develop tools to improve reliability, monitoring, and operational efficiency
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, operating systems, and networks in live production environments
  • Deploy and manage applications using configuration management and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Support containerized workloads and deployments across on-prem and co-located environments
  • Assist with database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Implement and refine logging, metrics, and alerting for rapid detection and response
  • Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
  • Participate in on-call or rotation-based support during critical trading hours as needed
