Why This Is a Great Opportunity

This is an ideal post-bar / early-career role for an attorney who wants to build a litigation career on the plaintiff side. You’ll join a nationally respected plaintiff-side firm as it launches and grows its wage-and-hour and employment class action practice in Washington.

You’ll gain real, hands-on exposure to state and federal litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 employers—while receiving strong training, mentorship, and support from experienced class action litigators.

The Role

As a Junior Associate Attorney, you’ll support active wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions in Washington courts. This role is designed to help you grow quickly from post-bar responsibilities into a full litigation associate through structured guidance and increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employment, wage-and-hour, and consumer class and representative actions in Washington state and federal courts
  • Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses under attorney supervision
  • Assist with written and document discovery, including document review, organization, and deposition preparation
  • Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law and prepare written analyses for senior attorneys
  • Participate in motion practice, oral advocacy, and court appearances as experience and responsibility increase
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to manage deadlines and case workflow
  • Communicate professionally with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel as directed
  • Travel occasionally within Washington for hearings, depositions, or case-related needs
