Working hours: 40 hours per week. This role follows UK business hours (typically 9:00–17:30 UK time), which is approximately 11:00–19:30 South Africa time depending on daylight savings.
We are seeking a Digital Strategy Manager to work with our client in the global financial markets infrastructure and data industry, playing a key role in shaping and delivering on-site digital experiences that delight customers and support commercial growth.
This position will partner with multiple global teams to drive digital execution, ensure compliance, enable impactful marketing experiences, and provide actionable insights that inform strategic direction. The role is central to driving quality B2B lead generation and enhancing the online experience for both new and existing customers.
What you will do:
- Partner with global colleagues to advise on and shape digital strategies for the .com, helping to drive quality B2B leads and improve the online experience for new and existing customers.
- Represent the Digital team & the customer in a cross-functional team, tasked with delivering a new customer experience on lseg.com representing the breadth and depth of the client's market data.
- Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with privacy, data protection, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with marketing partners to enhance campaigns and recommend innovative ways to use technology to improve performance and efficiency.
- Maintain a strong understanding of digital marketing and lead‑generation strategies, proactively identifying opportunities to introduce new tools, capabilities, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading or managing marketing delivery and digital execution in a dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of SEO and its business impact, is expected.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing / digital marketing/ business management and/or relevant. professional qualification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to enable strong collaboration with global colleagues.
- Proven track record to deliver measurable and meaningful results, supported by analytical and problem‑solving skills in addition to driving commercial benefit.
- Experience leading a team either directly or indirectly would be an advantage.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics would be an advantage.
- Ability to work UK hours.
- A strategic thinker with a passion for digital innovation and an unremitting focus on delivering experiences which power growth.
- Someone comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and effective at meeting ambitious delivery timelines.
- A curious, proactive, analytical professional who continually seeks new ways to improve performance and customer experience.
