Direct Care Worker
Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our compassionate team, providing essential support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of clients through personal care, assistance with daily activities, and companionship. Your caring nature and commitment to client welfare will help create a nurturing environment that promotes dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Provide companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to foster emotional well-being.
- Monitor clients’ health, report any changes to the care team, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Support clients in taking prescribed medications and ensure compliance with health protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare, home care, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions precisely.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
