The Director of Marketing Strategy, Brand Planning for Strong and Safe Communities will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic marketing framework that guides our go-to-market campaigns. This leader serves as a strategic bridge between business leaders and marketing activation teams, translating organizational priorities into integrated marketing strategies that drive societal impact. They will work upstream with program leaders to identify opportunities where marketing can accelerate impact while partnering with activation teams to ensure all campaigns are grounded in clear objectives, data-driven insights, a coherent theory of change, and measurable outcomes.
How You Will Contribute
Translate business priorities into integrated marketing strategies and campaign briefs, defining objectives, target audience strategy, positioning, messaging, value propositon of programs and measurement plans Define the strategic marketing framework that guides go-to-market campaigns, ensuring marketing initiatives align with organizational priorities and deliver measurable outcomes Serve as a strategic partner to program and business leaders to identify opportunities where marketing can create new value and accelerate impact Develop MarComms investment recommendations, ensuring marketing resources are aligned to the highest-impact opportunities Identify cultural insights, audience trends, and emerging opportunities that inform marketing experimentation and innovation Pilot and scale new marketing approaches, including influencer engagement, partnerships, and new distribution channels, to expand reach and impact Build learning agendas and collaborate with analytics teams to ensure campaigns generate actionable insights and continuously improve performance Provide strategic oversight of campaign planning and execution, ensuring go-to-market campaigns effectively advance defined objectives and strategic priorities. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across marketing, communications, digital, and analytics teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives
What You Will Bring
10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand strategy, or integrated marketing leadershipExperience developing audience-driven marketing strategies and multi-channel campaignsAbility to translate complex organizational goals into clear marketing strategies and actionable initiativesExperience working in agency, brand, or integrated marketing environments preferredDemonstrated success operating in matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholdersStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights and data into strategic directionFamiliarity with emerging and nontraditional marketing channels such as influencer partnerships, podcasting, and experiential engagement preferredExceptional communication and storytelling skillsComfort operating in ambiguity and building strategies from first principlesEnthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.
