About The Role:
We are hiring a Director of Product to lead our Product and Design teams as we progress on our journey to product-market fit and beyond. This is a highly hands-on, player-coach role for a product leader who enjoys being close to the work and taking ownership while partnering cross-functionally to deliver real, measurable value for our customers.
This role reports into the VP of Product & Marketing and is focused on scaling execution, strengthening PM leadership, and tightening learning loops from customer discovery and usage. The Director of Product will have significant influence on product direction and roadmap prioritization in partnership with the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Product Leadership:
- Lead the Product and Design teams to drive adoption and usage, focusing on achieving product-market fit through iteration, customer discovery, and continuous feedback.
- Define and maintain a structured approach to product-market fit, including discovery methods and success metrics.
- Coach Product Managers through hands-on discovery while maintaining high standards of execution and learning.
- Partner with leadership team to shape product direction and roadmap tradeoffs, including opportunities in PLG motions, content, and partnerships.
- Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities and staying ahead of emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers and product designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to enable the team to effectively execute on product initiatives and meet strategic goals.
- Foster a customer-centric mindset within the product and design team, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are at the forefront of decision-making.
Product Development:
- Lead and continuously improve the product development lifecycle, from concept ideation through launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring strong discovery, prioritization, and delivery in close partnership with Engineering.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Champion methodologies and iterative development processes to accelerate innovation and improve time-to-market
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, marketing, sales, engineering and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive product success.
- Act as a key liaison between product management and other functional areas, effectively communicating priorities, milestones, and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure effective product positioning, messaging, and launch execution.
Performance Measurement:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and impact of product initiatives.
- Regularly assess and report on product performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Requirements
- Min 8+ years of Product Management experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments, with experience building B2B SaaS products.
- Proven track record in product-market fit stage as well as scaling and growth across multiple market segments or product lines.
- 5+ years of proven experience leading product and/or other technical teams
- Deep experience leading across all aspects of the product development lifecycle from discovery to launch and post-launch.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving results in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally for strategic in-person meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience within business travel/events/meetings is highly preferred.
