About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Loan Processor to join a growing mortgage broking business supporting Australian clients. You will work closely with the broker, an admin team member and a senior loan processor. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end loan processing from gathering documents to settlement, while delivering an exceptional client experience. As the business expands, you’ll have the opportunity to help train and onboard additional team members. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, flexible environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely loan processing support.
Key Responsibilities
Support the broker with end-to-end loan processing for residential and commercial mortgages.Manage the loan pipeline from initial application through to settlement.Liaise directly with clients to collect required documentation and provide updates.Communicate with lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure smooth processing.Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including MyCrm, Infinity, Mercury or SimilarExperience with Apply OnlineExperience with Trello or similar project management toolsAssist in workflow management and task tracking.Contribute to process improvements and help establish best practices as the team grows.Train and mentor future loan processing staff members as the business expands.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Australian mortgage broker experience (not just banks or lenders).Proven ability to process loans end-to-end. Documentation Verification, Application Processing, Lender Submission. Lender Follow-UpConfident in directly communicating with clients in a professional, friendly manner.Familiarity with CRM systems, including MyCrm, Infinity, Mercury or SimilarHighly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.Comfortable working under pressure and handling constructive feedback.Familiar and comfortable with serviceability calculations and making recommendations
