We're seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to own the full-cycle revenue process across all service lines. You'll manage complex revenue recognition under ASC 606, oversee AR operations, and ensure accurate billing in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Working closely with sales, operations, and finance, you'll drive process improvements, automate workflows, and provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Reports to: Director of Accounting
What this role is responsible for:
· Managing the full-cycle revenue process, processing high-volume customer invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for all service lines.
· Owning AR processes, analyzing aging reports, and meeting collection goals to ensure prompt payment and manage outstanding accounts.
· Analyzing complex customer contracts and business arrangements to determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606.
Performing revenue close procedures, including revenue and deferred revenue journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.
· Reconciling revenue and AR to billing systems and the general ledger, investigating variances, and performing revenue analysis.
· Addressing all customer inquiries and escalating as required per policy
· Preparing, analyzing, and issuing the daily revenue forecast
· Performing complex calculations and preparing workpapers for revenue recognition reporting
· Collaborating with appropriate team members to accurately forecast collections to maintain our rolling 13-week cash forecast report.
· Maintaining and improving revenue accounting workflows, implementing internal controls, and providing input on revenue-related policies and procedures.
· Working closely with sales and operations teams to ensure proper revenue cut-off, accruals, and an efficient billing process.
· Reviewing all contracts and SOWs to ensure accurate project set up in our tracking system
· Owning the automation of manual processes within the organization
· Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls and support best practices
· Assisting with or leading the administration, implementation, continual review, and improvement of financial systems and processes
· Adhering to FASB guidelines and GAAP, company policies and procedures and other regulations in the performance of duties.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Previous start up or public accounting experience is a huge plus
· Knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
· Financial analysis experience
· Demonstrated expertise with accounting software, and data management systems e.g., Sage, Datto/Autotask, Excel, Salesforce, AWS
· High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, etc.)
