Key Activities:

  • Responsible for on time delivery of manufacturing drawings / General arrangement dwg/ BOMs for filter solutions, elements, tools as well as the necessary product documentation.
  • Training and mentoring filtration engineering team subordinates
  • Ensure on time delivery of manufacturing drawings / General arrangement dwg/ BOMs for filter solutions, elements, tools as well as the necessary product documentation
  • Responsible for quality of the engineering deliverables and resolution of any quality issue raised
  • Quality checks for engineering deliverables from junior team members
  • Performing engineering calculation and Engineering documentation creation for customer
  • Use of standard product sizing and selection tools, as well as follow or enhancement of standard working procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, VAVE, and other strategic initiatives
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other engineering teams in Netherland, and Czech engineering teams
  • Completes other assignments as directed.

  • 100% Compliance to processes & procedures laid down by organization e.g., iProjects, DOSE, TC, SAP, etc.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement important initiatives.
  • Contribute to safety measures and company policies.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Quick Learner with sound technical and analytical skills.
  • Good in understanding and reading drawing capabilities.
  • Liaise with respective Stake holder and drawing offices.
  • Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S.

 

Qualifications

Skills and experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience: 4-7 Years
  • Technical Skills
  • Solid Edge
  • Strong hands-on skills in Solid Edge 3D Assembly / 3D Part modelling / 2D Draft environments
  • General arrangement and manufacturing drawings
  • People Skills: Good Team Player

Key Metrices:

  • Assure compliance with customer standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Accountable for Engineering Solutions organization KPI ‘s and focus on OTD & Quality metrices agreed.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
