The role you will play:
As an Engineering Team Lead at Render, you have a strong background in designing, developing & managing web front ends, internal APIs, as well as leading a team of developers in a B2B SaaS organization. Your responsibilities include setting the technical vision of our web front ends and their interactions with our internal APIs and ensuring this vision and its execution aligns with the strategy and goals of the business, including costs, risk, security, maintainability, robustness and scale.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality front end components that interact with APIs meeting the needs of our customers and partners. You will be responsible for setting technical standards, best practices, and ensuring that the team adheres to them. You will drive the architecture and design of our front ends and work closely with other engineering leads to build out supporting APIs, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall product & technology strategy of the organisation. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, as well as mentoring and coaching more junior developers. This is a hands-on, front end focused, role that requires a deep understanding of front end & API technologies, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
