Our Engineering Managers are instrumental to the success of our engineering teams, and this is an incredible opportunity to play a key part in shaping SwissBorg's future. You will be managing our SRE and Platform teams, ensuring that everything works reliably, securely, and at scale.

Coach engineers of all levels and individuals facing any work related challenges Be responsible for attracting, mentoring, supporting and retaining a team of top-notch engineers who design, build and support SwissBorg infrastructureOnboard new members Attract and retain new talentEnsure that our hiring processes are best aligned with the requirementsWork closely with all Engineering Managers to create hiring plans
Delivery
Drive the implementation of the roadmap and balance new features with technical debtManage expectations and work closely with high level stakeholdersEnsure productivity by removing obstacles and creating a results driven and high performing engineering environment Plan and prioritise the team’s roadmap, and champion team projects internallyMonitor metrics to ensure that teams are hitting and are on target Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure that outputs and goals are alignedOwn and create new processesShare opinions and input, with the ability to influence the direction of the engineering teams
We would love to hear from you if you have the following experience:
3+ years of management experiencePrior experience coordinating a team and delivering on a roadmapExperience managing infrastructure teamsA “people first” approach - you care about facilitating learning and growth on the team - you put our engineers firstStrong stakeholder management skillsA deep understanding of communication, group dynamics and coaching, and can help teams develop trust and safetyComfortable providing feedback and having sometimes difficult conversationsStrong attention to detailAlthough this is not a hands on position - we are looking for an understanding of the latest frameworks and technologies so that when something isn’t working or delivery is slow, you know how to fix itThe ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environmentMust have an interest in crypto or blockchain eco-system
