We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to join the core engineering leadership team and play a key role in building products and platforms from the ground up. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who enjoys mentoring teams, owning end-to-end delivery, and driving engineering excellence while contributing to a high-impact fintech ecosystem.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and guide a team of engineers across the full product lifecycle—from requirements and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production monitoring—while ensuring high standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team within the core platform group
• Own end-to-end product and platform delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Drive system design, architecture decisions, and best engineering practices
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and promote clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Proactively identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and production issues, and drive their resolution
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with experience in technical leadership or people management roles
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms, with an understanding of design trade-offs
• Proven hands-on expertise in Java and the Spring / Spring Boot framework
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working in fast-paced product companies or internet-scale environments
