The Role
We’re looking for a Staff Software Developer who can own big technical decisions, build scalable systems, and help shape our engineering culture as we grow. You’ll work across the stack, solve complex problems, and turn ambiguity into clear direction. This is a high‑impact role with broad autonomy.
What You'll Do
Drive high‑priority engineering and cross‑functional projects from idea to execution
Keep the VP informed with clear updates, meeting summaries, and action items
Represent the VP in select meetings to maintain momentum
Improve team operations, processes, and planning workflows
Build alignment across Product, Design, Data, and Operations
Surface risks early and keep teams on track through influence, not hierarchy
About You
- 3–6+ years in project/program management, operations, or similar roles
- Experience in a startup or high‑growth tech environment
- Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to synthesize technical information for diverse audiences
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence cross‑functionally
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Agile and modern engineering workflows
- Experience creating lightweight dashboards or operational tooling

Please note that this role requires three days a week in our Toronto office which is located near Union Station
