We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and approachable Executive Culinary Administrator to support our Executive Chef and Culinary Division. This role ensures smooth daily operations, helps coordinate key projects, and supports team engagement initiatives. You’ll support our Executive Chef and Senior Culinary Leadership Team in driving excellence across the kitchens, while managing communications, calendar, and administrative projects.
This role also supports retention efforts and acts as a liaison with other hotel departments, working closely with the Kitchen Manager and Culinary Operations Administrator to ensure alignment across Culinary and Stewarding operations. You will play a key role in maintaining structure, efficiency, and communication across the department, balancing day-to-day administrative responsibilities with strategic projects and engagement initiatives.
Competitive Salary: $64,000 - 66,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Executive Chef responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Executive & Administrative Support - Manage the Executive Chef’s calendar, inbox, and meeting coordination; prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow-ups to ensure priorities and communications are well-organized.
- Communication & Departmental Coordination - Draft and distribute internal communications, including policy updates and announcements; coordinate alignment between the Executive Chef, Culinary Leadership Team, and Executive Team.
- Project & Program Management - Support and track key departmental initiatives such as engagement programs, recognition efforts, and culinary Masterclasses, ensuring timelines and outcomes are met.
- Onboarding, Engagement & Culture - Lead onboarding for new culinary colleagues, support Stewarding onboarding, and organize team events and engagement activities to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
- Operational Support & Compliance - Maintain SOPs, policies, and the Culinary Cultural Manual; ensure compliance through tracking sign-offs and supporting alignment across Culinary and Stewarding operations.
- Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement- Assist with reporting and P&L commentary, track customer reviews and feedback trends, and review group/VIP summaries to provide insights that enhance operational excellence and guest experience
Qualifications
Required experience:
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing calendars, emails, and administrative workflows for senior leadership
- Comfortable creating presentations, spreadsheets, and documents in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience with Dayforce, Birchstreet, or Canva is a plus
- Previous administration and coordination experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is ideal
- Adaptive, structured, and able to navigate complex schedules and seasonal demands with efficiency
- Innovative, proactive, and solution-focused, with the ability to anticipate operational needs
