The Exploration Administrator is responsible for the administration and supervision of the clerical functions to support the exploration and geology teams.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Weekly and Monthly Geology and Drilling accounts management.
- Review and payment of the Exploration Invoices via the Pronto accounts program.
- Assist technical and commercial teams in identify and investigating variance to budget and forecast.
- Contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist procurement activities and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with other administrators to facilitate departmental travel and accommodation requirements.
- Timely and accurate entry of daily drilling data.
- Ordering and despatch of geology and sampling related supplies.
- Archive Daily accounting.
- Record keeping and Reporting.
- Word and Spreadsheet Processing.
- INX & Drill Hub data entry.
- Geology training administration.
- Field equipment supply and administration.
- Facilitate Exploration support meetings.
- Maintain department inspection register.
- Attend pre shift and safety meetings.
Reporting
- Monthly accrual report.
- Meeting minutes.
- Support cost estimation for budget and forecasting.

Qualifications
- Secondary schooling.
- Pronto or accounting software.
- Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
Experience
- Strong PC skills and computer literacy, particularly in accounting programs, Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Access or other database software and systems will be viewed favourably.
- Ability to work in a team with peers.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving work programs.
- Attention to detail with accurate and efficient data entry.
