Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Training to lead our training program development. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, planning, developing, creating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating training programs for Saronic products, as well as provide direction to internal training needs.
Responsibilities
Create and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of customersConduct customer needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunitiesEnsure training programs meet various certification, audit, and compliance requirementsWork with external training providers, internal stakeholders, instructional designers, and media producers to develop and deliver trainingWork across departments to assess and deliver program strategy, define organizational needs, and collaborate on the strategic alignment of trainingAssess user needs and align course content and design accordinglyRefine data capture and its analysis to improve trainingResearch, advocate for, and implement training methodologies relevant to assessed needs, including the development and use of AR/VR formatsAssist the team in producing effective and engaging educational experiencesAdvocate for the training team's strategic needsEstablish and maintain appropriate instructional design principles and theories to maximize learner engagement and retentionLeverage our learning management system to deliver, track, and ensure training completionEvaluate the efficacy of digital, live, and hybrid training
Qualifications
Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and program delivery online and in personStrong leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple projects, resources, and budgets effectivelyProficient in assessing and analyzing performance to improve the training productExperience in producing digital learning experiences using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.Advanced knowledge of data evaluation and assessmentsMaster's Degree in instructional design, education, or a related fieldExperience in training in corporate, DoD, or related manufacturing environmentsExperience administering a Learning Management System (LMS)Experience with Cornerstone preferred
