RMC is hiring a Facility Support Coordinator to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, MD. Duties may include:
- Provide multi-tasking and organization skills to establish priorities, meet deadlines and disseminate information to the Velocity Lab (VL) personnel, guests and attendees
- Provide logistics support for various meetings and events (Camera/room setup, computers/IT/Teams, VIP parking, sound checks, Gov’t Van deliveries, etc.)
- Organize/configure/reconfigure VL rooms for daily/weekly events
- Schedule meetings, calendars, trainings, Teams meetings, video teleconferences and book conference rooms
- Coordinate details/assist with sensitive/classified meetings
- Execute general office duties as assigned (i.e., photo copies, shred documentation, distribute USPS mail)
- Provide logistical support for events (i.e., book the facility, send invites for attendees, create agendas, create rosters and capture/distribute meeting minutes)
- Create, collect and manage documents/presentations for events and attendees while maintaining strict confidentiality with handling of records
- Create and print building notices, update organizational charts and generate correspondence following DoD and DoN records management guidelines
- Serve as temporary building point of contact for multiple renovations/repairs by NAVFAC/NSWC; coordinate notifications to several Command depts within the building for issues and planning
- Perform monthly/quarterly Safety/Fire monitor walk through inspections
- Update internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the VL
- Collect and proofread weekly highlights for publishing to the VL intranet/internal websites as needed
- Provide NMCI and RDT&E equipment tracking, maintenance and support; Ensure NMCI/RDT&E assets are all up to date and online per policies/releases; submit NMCI/RDT&E support tickets as needed
- Provide ad-hoc meeting space for walk-ins or last minute/emergency requests
- Submit/monitor Facility service ticket requests and monitor status towards completion of issues
- Maintain office supplies; Coordinate shipments of and distribute/track office supplies and materials
- Enter Procurement Transactions; update tracking spreadsheets to maintain status and request additional information and approvals as needed
- Track government furnished materials; Coordinate equipment and supply deliveries and distribution to personnel
- Coordinate and track MAC (Move, Add, Change) requests as needed
- Support new employee orientations for the VL
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with four (4) years of relevant experience in a related discipline
- An active DoD SECRET clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and experience managing competing priorities
- Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills; solid track record of delivering quality customer service
- Must have experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience working in a team environment

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $89,700 to $109,700 (annually).
