Your core responsibilities encompass:
- Lead the Group Accounting team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting and reporting in line with Group policies and core values.
- Ultimately responsible for financial accounting and reporting activities within the parent- and group management companies including financial reporting to group, monthly and quarterly closing, tax reporting.
- Coordinate and ensure efficient local audits, tax reporting and other statutory matters aligned with internal Group timeline.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with key business partners and departments, working closely with Business Control, Tax, and Treasury.
- Position Group Accounting as a “sandbox” for testing and developing best practices for new routines, procedures, and software.
- Enable Group Accounting employees to become superusers in group software and explore best practices.
- Participate in the development and rollout of new accounting procedures and software, and represent the user perspective in various forums.
- Act as a key discussion partner on broader business processes, including transactions, acquisitions, and business cases, etc.
- Continue to implement Dynamics 365 for all Group Accounting portfolio entities.
Qualifications
To fit this role, we look for you who has:
- University degree/MSc in business administration, accounting or similar.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as accounting manager from a large company, preferably in an international business environment. You have experience managing teams and with personnel responsibility.
- Experience from working with the majority or all processes within accounting, reporting, tax and corporate compliance requirements.
- Solid IT knowledge and interest in ERP systems. Experience from working with projects and process development
- Excellent skills in 365 office (notably ppt and excel) and preferably experience with D365
