The role

As Ideals continues to scale globally, with distributed teams and complex financial decision-making needs, we are strengthening our Finance Analytics capability.

We are looking for a strong Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our Finance team and support operational and strategic decision-making processes through financial modeling, analytics, and fostering finance business partnerships.

This role is not just a classic budgeting-focused FP&A position. Instead, it is centered on financial modeling and forecasting, analytical support for strategic initiatives, setting and monitoring financial KPI, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.

You will work closely with leadership from all business functions, contributing to high-impact financial analyses used by executives in a fast-changing, non-routine environment.

What you will do

• Maintain, update, and further develop existing financial models, ensuring data accuracy and relevance

• Build new financial models to support strategic and operational decision-making

• Estimate ROI for business initiatives and validate calculations prepared by other teams

• Contribute to the development and refinement of financial KPIs for business teams and support their implementation and tracking

• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and insights for executive leadership and other stakeholders

• Act as a financial advisor / partner for internal teams, explaining financial concepts in a clear and practical way

• Participate in cross-functional initiatives requiring financial expertise and structured analytical thinking

• Support continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and analytical approaches using AI, FP&A software, and BI instruments

What you bring

• 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, consulting, valuation, or similar analytical roles

• Strong hands-on experience with financial modeling (both maintaining existing models and building new ones)

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (must-have)

• Knowledge of key SaaS metrics and specifics of the SaaS business

• Experience working in dynamic, non-routine environments with changing priorities and tight timelines.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders

• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher - sufficient for written and verbal communication with international teams and executives

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving skills

• High level of flexibility, adaptability, and ownership

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, tech, telecom industry, consulting, or Big 4 companies

• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar)

• Familiarity with FP&A tools (Anaplan, Planful, Mosaic or similar)

• Interest or experience with AI and automation tools applied in financial modeling, analytics, and financial workflows
