The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements. This role supports management in financial planning, decision-making, and compliance with regulatory and internal reporting requirements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory compliance.

Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances versus budget and forecasts.

Consolidate financial data from multiple business units or stores and ensure accuracy.

Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for management reports and audits.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting Support

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Provide variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts, highlighting key drivers and recommendations.

Support the Finance Supervisor in financial planning and performance monitoring.
3. Compliance & Audit
-
Ensure reports comply with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation during audits.

Maintain and improve internal controls related to financial reporting processes.
4. Process Improvement & Systems
-
Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation or process improvements.

Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms.
5. Ad Hoc Reports & Projects

Prepare customized financial analyses to support business initiatives or management inquiries.

Participate in cross-functional projects that impact financial reporting and business performance.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit (experience in F&B or retail industry is an advantage).

Certification: CPA is an advantage but not required.

Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting standards.

Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and presentation skills.
