After co-founding and scaling Forto to over $600M in funding, I took a step back to reflect on what’s still broken in global logistics. The answer was clear: it’s still a human-first, spreadsheet-heavy industry, full of repetitive processes and broken system interoperability.
With the rise of AI agents, we now have the tools to rethink that from the ground up. Zauber builds autonomous agents for the global logistics industry, AI workers that handle operational tasks, talk to systems and humans alike, and get better every day.
🚢 We're already live with global logistics leaders in Europe and Asia
💰 Backed by one of Europe's top early-stage funds
📈 Growing fast and hiring exceptional engineers to join early
Now, we're hiring a Founding Designer to help craft the agent-native interfaces powering the future of global logistics.
This is a high-ownership role. You will take full responsibility for our product’s UX and UI. You will work side by side with customers, engineers, and the founding team to shape how operators collaborate with intelligent systems.
Lead the full design process from first insight to final UI
Create intuitive and powerful interfaces for AI-driven workflows
Build and maintain a simple, effective design system
Work directly with freight forwarders to deeply understand their needs
Run hands-on research and testing to validate your ideas quickly
Have worked as a product designer in an early-stage or fast-paced team
Care deeply about solving real user problems and not just making things pretty

Expect regular customer visits + annual 4 weeks field trip to SF/Bay Area
Start: Q1 2026
Top-of-market compensation and early equity upside
A role with real ownership and the chance to define a product from scratch
A tight-knit team that values action, clarity, and customer impact
Access to real customers and the full design-to-deployment loop
A shot at designing a product that changes how the world’s goods move
AI tools are powerful, but the product layer is missing. The current operating systems of our users are >15 years old and looking like Windows XP. This is your chance to define how humans work with machines in one of the most important industries in the world.
We envision a world where every shipment is proactively managed by intelligent agents. Where operators have superhuman capabilities at their fingertips and trade never stalls.
🇪🇺 Building from Europe
What drives us personally is the belief that Europe’s long-term prosperity and sovereignty depend on a strong economic engine. We need more AI product-first European global champions on the world stage.
Our mission is to build one of the biggest automation companies in the world - from Europe. While our HQ will be in Europe, we will relentlessly benchmark ourselves with the best globally and sell internationally from the beginning.
