Job Description:
As the first engineering hire, you will architect and build the core platform for an AI-driven regulatory automation startup. Working closely with founders from MedTech and AI backgrounds, you will take full ownership of the technical foundations and infrastructure to transform how life-saving products navigate complex compliance documentation.

What you will do:

• Design and implement scalable end-to-end features using Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript while managing cloud infrastructure on GCP/AWS.

• Architect and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrate custom AI model endpoints into production environments.

• Lead the development of intuitive user interfaces from Figma designs, ensuring high-quality UX for complex regulatory workflows.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 4+ years of professional experience with full-stack development, specifically within the React/Node.js ecosystem and modern cloud-native architectures.

• Exhibits a "startup DNA" with high agency, comfort with ambiguity, and a track record of building 0-to-1 products or standalone features.

• Possesses experience or a strong interest in integrating AI functionalities and managing automated CI/CD pipelines for verified software deployment.
