Senior Software Engineer; Frontend Engineer
PlayerZero is building a self-healing system for software that automates defect resolution and development. We are used by engineering and support teams to:
autonomously debug problems in the software (technical support)
fix issues directly in the code
prevent these problems from recurring
PlayerZero is backed by leading investors such as Foundation Capital, WndrCo, and Green Bay Ventures — and operators like Matei Zaharia, Drew Houston, Dylan Field, Guillermo Rauch, among others.
We believe that as software development speeds up, engineering and support teams face greater challenges maintaining software for their customers. We see this as an opportunity to reinvent how software is supported.
We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of software development tools. As a Frontend Engineer at PlayerZero, you'll work on creating intuitive and powerful interfaces that enable engineering teams to effectively monitor, debug, and fix issues in their software systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of software maintenance while working with cutting-edge technologies.
Develop new user-facing features using Next.js, TailwindCSS, and other modern frontend technologies
Build reusable code, libraries, and architecture for future use.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Our product is complex and simple at the same time — you will work closely with our founder and our design architect to imagine and execute.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Build delightful experiences that humans (including yourself) will love using.
You have an unhealthy attention to detail.
You love building beautiful experiences — inside and out.
Have 5+ years of front-end development experience and want to take on a new challenge.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Complexity doesn’t scare you.
You like iterating and co-designing great experiences.
Tackling the challenges of such a vast and complex industry is an enormous undertaking. We've raised a Series A funding and are backed by leading investors who share our vision to help us on this journey.
