The Role
JustWin is looking for a senior level full stack engineer to help us maintain and expand our AI-powered platform for helping businesses find and win government contracts. You will help us to maintain and improve our existing web app and features, and build new vital features for our users from the ground up. We are looking for strong, product-oriented engineers, who care deeply about whether or not what they are building solves genuine problems for the user.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship customer-facing features in our web app, including advanced RFP analysis and LLM-enabled proposal writing

• Own critical problems end-to-end, balancing speed and quality

• Work directly with customers to deeply understand and solve real pain points

• Help us ensure code quality and expand test coverage

What We’re Looking For

While we are open minded about your precise background, the ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record along many of the following dimensions:

• Strong product thinking: you have a good intuition around what is actually useful for customers, thinking a lot about what to build, not just how to build it.

• Strong technical contributor: you’ve built and shipped complex products, ideally in web apps or AI-powered tools.

• Customer-oriented mindset: you care about building intuitive experiences that make real users’ lives easier.

• AI Passion: you’ve worked with LLMs and data-driven systems.

• Ownership mentality: you don’t wait for permission — you proactively identify problems and solve them.

• Fast learner: you thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly, and are excited to pick up new skills.

• Clear communicator: you explain complex concepts simply and directly.

• Open to quarterly travel (if not on-site in DC): able to travel to Washington, D.C. roughly once per quarter for team meetings and collaboration.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Python/Django and modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Experience with SQL databases, ideally Postgres

• Background in startups, small teams, or fast-paced environments.

• Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products.
