Role Overview
We are looking for a Virtual Assistant (VA) to support the growth and operations of a nonprofit seniors housing society. The ideal candidate will perform research, database management, and outreach tasks, helping to streamline operations and facilitate communication with partners. This is a virtual role, requiring someone with strong organizational skills and experience working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Data Entry:
- Conduct online research to gather and input relevant information into the property management system.
- Maintain up-to-date records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the data.
Phone Outreach & Communication:
- Call contacts to gather missing information or follow up on business details.
- Conduct outreach based on outcomes from LinkedIn drip campaigns.
Follow-up & Scheduling:
- Follow up on outreach and research activities to ensure timely completion.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendar events, ensuring smooth operations.
Task Management:
- Help manage ad-hoc projects, ensuring deadlines are met and workflows are streamlined.
- Assist with keeping tasks organized and ensuring no follow-up is missed.
Requirements
- Experience working with databases and property management systems (preferred).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable making phone calls for business inquiries and gathering information.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to anticipate needs and add value to tasks.
- Proven experience in research, data entry, and administrative support.
- Comfortable with task management tools (Trello, Asana, or similar).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems, and email campaigns is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across various projects.
